TOFU AND CONDIMENTS

Ingredients

3 or 4 green onions

3 green shiso leaves (optional)

4 tsp soy sauce

1 lb tofu (medium), drained

1/4 cup dried bonito flakes

2 tbsp grated, pared, fresh ginger root

1.  Cut green onions into 1/8 thick slices.  Remove stems from shiso and cut lengthwise into 1/4 inch wide strips (optional)

2.  Cut tofu into desired size (serving size) blocks.  Place on serving plate

3.  Grate ginger on to the pieces of tofu and beside the blocks

4.  Sprinkle green onions on each piece of tofu and beside the blocks

Serve with soy sauce for dipping or pouring over

Optional - use cilantro instead of shiso leaves

Campbell’s Tuna Noodle Casserole

A classic North American dish! 8 servings printer-friendly recipe Ingredients 2 (10.75 ounce) cans Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup (regular or 25% Lower Sodium) 1 cup milk (fresh or canned) 2 cups frozen peas 2 (10 ounce) cans tuna, drained 4 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles 2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs 1 tablespoon butter, melted Directions Step 1 Stir soup, milk, peas, tuna and noodles in 3-quart casserole. Step 2 Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes or until hot. Stir. Step 3 Mix bread crumbs with butter in bowl and sprinkle over tuna mixture. Bake for 5 minutes more.  Enjoy with a crunchy salad or with some roasted vegetables. TIPS For a Cheese Topping: In place of buttered breadcrumbs, top with 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese over hot casserole. Lemonade

 Lemonade 8 servings  This is a favourite summer drink!   It’s very cheap to make, and it’s especially good if you use freshly squeezed lemon juice. Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 6 cups water 1 cup lemon juice- freshly squeezed or bottled Method: Put sugar and water into pot.  Heat and dissolve the sugar.  You’ve just made a simple syrup!  Let it cool. Combine syrup with lemon juice.  Chill. Enjoy over ice cubes in a glass! Notes:  ⦁ you can substitute lime juice (or mix lemon and lime juice) ⦁ feel free to add less sugar ⦁ garnish with citrus slices
