Tuna Potato Casserole with gratin topping serves 6 -8
This is a simple and yummy casserole with a crunchy topping.
Casserole ingredients:
6 cooked potatoes, sliced or diced
2 cans cream of mushroom/celery/chicken soup
1 cup fresh or canned evaporated milk
1 cup canned/frozen/fresh vegetables
2 cans tuna, drained
1-2 ribs celery, diced
1 onion, diced
Black pepper to taste
Grated cheese (optional)
Chopped parsley (optional)
Gratin ingredients:
½ cup bread or cracker crumbs
¼ cup melted butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400° F
Mix all casserole ingredients in a large pot or bowl.
Pour into 9” x 13” baking dish.
Put into oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Mix bread crumbs and melted butter together. Sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake casserole for another 5 to 10 minutes or until gratin topping is golden brown.
